London South East Colleges incorporates Bromley College and the former Bexley College and Greenwich Community College, with campuses across South East London.
We deliver high quality education and skills training throughout the region and are committed to attracting and retaining the very best staff talent.
With changes in the way the government funds Apprenticeships due to come in to effect in April 2017, this is an area of rapid growth for the College and we are now seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Resourcer to join our Apprenticeships team based at our campus in Plumstead, SE London. This is a great opportunity for an individual wishing to focus on the successful placement and talent pool development aspect of the recruitment process.
The successful candidate will have gained experience in either an agency or internal recruitment environment and will be fully proficient in all areas of candidate attraction and retention. In order to be successful you will need to develop a full understanding of the vacancy requirements and be able to draw on your experience of producing advert copies and the use of various media such as job boards and social media to attract the right applicants for the roles. Experience of interviewing and assessing applicants' suitability is essential.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a stimulating work environment, a generous annual leave scheme in addition to Bank and Public Holidays and a Christmas closure period, travel season tickets and discount on a selection of membership deals to local Bromley Mytime Leisure Centres
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants. If you have not been notified of the outcome of your application within three weeks of the closing date, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
