We are currently working with a leading software provider of software. A global business with over 1000 employees and GBP500m turnover the business are recognised global as a leader in their field.
You will be providing chargeable SAM and Licence advisory services to a customer base by way of both onsite professional services, consulting and hosted SAM managed services. This is an officed based role where you will frequently be on site visiting clients. A current driving licence and no more than 3 points is mandatory.
You will need to be highly professional and credible with a good technical knowledge around SAM. Experience working with IBM solutions would be highly desirable. You will also need to be professional and credible as you will be working with Enterprise clients on a daily basis.

Role Objective & Key Responsibilities
-Work on fee-earning projects, either within a small team or independently.
-Manage and deliver professional and managed services as directed by the SAM Team Leader
-Manage client expectations, establish and maintain good client relationships.
-Assist in the generation of business process and project documentation.
-Deploy, implement and configure inventory management tools
-Data normalisation of discovery tool data from multiple inventory sources
-Reconciliation status, compliance and readiness reports for agreed tier 1 publishers & applications.
-Provide SAM reviews to meet the deliverable expected from both the customer and the vendors.
-Carry out any administrative work related to company, client and personal activities
Sam Experience
-Produce, manage and maintain software compliance positions for customers across multiple vendors
-Maintain an in-depth understanding of IBM and Microsoft licensing licensing models
-Experience in a medium-large corporate enterprise, operating MS Enterprise Agreements, Select Agreements and IBM Enterprise Agreements
-Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing and services
-Ensure production of timely and accurate compliance reports to customers as part of SLAs
