Assistant Accountant - Marketing / Media - London City

Ideally you will have a good knowledge of basic accounting and financial systems. You must be able to take on personal responsibility, as well as fitting into a relaxed team environment. Building and maintaining management reporting spreadsheetsExecuting the monthly invoicing runAllocating payments to client accounts and reconcilingReconciling bank statements and other balance sheet reportsChecking and uploading supplier invoicesPreparing payments for affiliates and suppliersHandling accruals and prepaymentsPreparing and paying intercompany payments and reconciling currency differencesPreparation of VAT returnsProviding administrative and clerical support as neededAssisting the finance department with various tasks, including preparing budgets, audits, records and statements The Person: Previous experience in a similar role as an Assistant AccountantAn ability to work quickly and accuratelyIntermediate Excel including Vlookup, PivotTables, FormulaMotivated, quick to learn, efficient and capable of working under pressureGood written and oral communication skillsHighly organisedExperience with at least one major financial accounting package This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing company, that can offer excellent rewards and benefits.
