The Role:
Foster and Cross, part of the Express Lifts Alliance Group, are currently seeking an experienced Lift Technician to join our busy repair team. Ideally, you will be based near Milton Keynes and will cover an assigned area around there and the Cambridge and Northampton areas. As an experienced Lift Engineer/ Lift Technician you will be expected to offer technical support and guidance across the region. You will have the ability to resolve technical issues. As well as mentoring our field based engineers, you will participate in small, minor repairs. You will identify problems via root cause analysis and corrective actions, problem solving to support the customers` needs.
Experience Required:
You will be qualified to at least NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes of equipment. As the Lift Technician, you will possess a proven track record in resolving technical issues and fault finding. . Whilst you must be a team player, it is essential that as the Technician, you can also work on your own initiative. You will show us that you are organized, hardworking and loyal, promoting and working to the required ELA Health and Safety standards, at all times.
On top of a competitive basic salary (up to GBP34,000), you can receive overtime, where an individual could be earning cGBP45,000+. Other company benefits offered include 25 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme and our Employee Scholarship Programme which offers employees the opportunity to obtain a University Degree, Graduate Diploma or Masters.
