Site Manager
Site manager required to work on a contract basis for a national civil engineering and groundworks business.
Working across the UK on projects up to GBP15m, the business work on groundworks and civil engineering packages in the following sectors: Education, Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Energy
Currently they require a site manager on a freelance basis for a minimum of 15 weeks to work on an education project including drainage (internal/external) and external works (roads, paving, kerbing) worth just over GBP1.5m.
As a site manager you will monitor and supervise all work from the drawings to handover.
You'll ensure that the workforce are inducted on to site and are always carrying out the work against RAMS in a safe manner. You will report in to a project manager, dealing with challenges on site, and ultimately bringing the job in on budget and on time.
Experience as a number 1 site manager on similar value groundworks/civils jobs are essential with a subcontractor. SMSTS, CSCS, and 1st Aid are all required.
