Location: Oxford Region

International Company based near Oxford is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a temp to perm basis, or will consider direct permanent.
Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, the role of Finance Manager will be to manage a team of 6-7 employees and oversee the finance function with the following duties:

- Oversee of month end processes for all FTO entities and JVs
- Review and consolidation of forecast and budgets processes for all FTO entities and JVs
- Oversee statutory and internal audits, engagement letter, review findings and deliver results
- Internal controls - ensure proper financial procedures are in place and adhered to
- Ensure proper application of accounting standards & procedures within FTO entities
- Ensure proper accounting is completed in JVs and adjust if needed with top level entries
- Reconcile top level monthly journal entries passed by Corporate and ensure accuracy
- Oversee accounts receivable work
- Timely invoicing and collection, AR Governance reporting

- Oversee accounts payable work
- Cash flow management and supplier relationships

- Oversee and review for the financial accuracy of the financial statements of all the global FTO entities
- Prepare and review of intangibles (amortization and impairment)
- Prepare goodwill impairment testing

- Prepare accounting memos on accounting issues for global FTO as required supported by headquarter when required
- Ensure correct accounting is in place for all new contracts
- Management of tax issues and liaise with corporate to solve
- Ensure governance compliance
- Ensure proper training around processes are given to finance and non-finance employees around financial processes (month-end, invoice approvals, etc.)
- Solve process issues and propose process improvements for relevant processes

Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent supported by Education to Degree level.
Extensive relevant experience as finance manager assuming responsibilities of reporting for an international publicly traded entity including handling of accounting memos, external auditors and operating in a high governance environment, along with the following:

- Ability to communicate clearly to non-finance department leads finance concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work with different cultures
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and flexible.
- Creative mind / able to think outside of the box.
- Business-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Proven superior computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Decisiveness and critical thinking.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritize work and work well under pressure in a results driven environment
