Job Title: Senior Risk Analyst - Capital & Impairment - SAS
Location: Cardiff
Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP40,000 + bonus & benefits
Our client, a major retail bank based in Cardiff are looking for an experienced SAS Analyst to join their Mortgages - Capital & Impairment team.
As a Senior Analyst for Mortgages Capital & Impairment team you will support the delivery of an agenda of innovation to continuously improve credit decision making within Mortgages. You`ll have significant responsibility for forecasting, monitoring and delivering financial results, and establishing effective management controls.
What do I need to apply?
- A degree at 2:1 or above in a numerical subject (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research) with strong A level results
- Experience using SAS and Excel at an advanced level to manipulate and interrogate data (Essential)
- Experience working within a customer-centric / data-driven business, ideally within risk management, credit risk modelling or financial reporting.
- The ability to interpret complex data and apply advanced numerical techniques is key, and familiarity with statistical methods is required.
