IT Audit Manager

Job Profile Summary
To lead, manage and deliver a portfolio of audit assignments as directed by the Senior IT Audit Manager. To complete audit assignments on time, to global IA quality standards, appropriate company and regulatory standards, and such that they provide appropriate assurance and insight to IT management.

To support the Senior IT Audit Manager in managing ongoing audit relationships with key IT customers relating to their assigned portfolios and as directed by the Global IT Audit Director.

To lead, manage, appraise and performance manage direct reports and contribute to the performance reviews of audit staff assigned to specific audits who may not be a direct report. This includes directing, coaching and training as appropriate.

Responsibilities
?? Responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of audits of IT systems and processes, and accountable for delivery of assignments in accordance with professional and company standards.
?? Responsible for preparation of an objective risk-based assessment and an effective audit approach, evaluating the adequacy of controls, developing creative and practical recommendations that add value.
?? Obtain sufficient information regarding an operation's procedures, identify weaknesses and test for procedural compliance, and recommend changes in procedures.
?? Delivers audit assignments to agreed IA standards and to agreed timescales, including a clear, concise and insightful final report in business English.
?? Identify and evaluate the risks/impacts associated with identified issues.
?? Prepares status reports for Senior IT Audit Manager and key governance committees (in business English).
?? Provides advice on IT controls and risks and other consultancy services required by IT management, including attendance to key governance forums as required.
?? Assist the Senior IT Audit Manager with development of the annual IT risk assessment and annual Audit Plan.
?? Lead, motivates, appraises and performance manages direct reports and contributes to performance reviews of audit staff assigned to specific audits that are not direct reports.
?? Develop and maintain productive business and IT relationships both to facilitate delivery of audits and to assist the Senior IT Audit Manager.
?? Serves as a technical advisor to financial / operational audits on IT aspects of functions and business activities under review.
?? Contributes and supports the Operations Manager in the development of IA standards and procedures.
?? Actively maintains an appropriate level of understanding of current technologies and IT best practices.
?? Actively seeks to gain a thorough understanding of general business and IT operations / processes.
?? Serve as a technical advisor to financial/operational auditors on IT aspects of functions and activities reviewed.

Experience
? Extensive experience of IT audit management delivery (2 - 5 years)
? IT Audit or equivalent IT business experience (5 - 8 years)
? Proven experience working in an IA management capacity
? Proven experience advising and supporting senior business management and executives
? Knowledge and experience of IT, particularly digital and distributed computing technologies, IT security, system development, computer operations, business continuity management & disaster recovery, application software, telecommunications, and IT Risk assessment.
? Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Qualifications
? Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or related certifications.
? Degree educated preferably in Management Information Systems or similar computing science / business degree or Accounting / Finance / Business degree with computing experience.
