This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN to apply their skills and experience in a rewarding setting. A 43-bedded home situated beautiful seaside town of Minehead providing nursing and respite care. With an attractive decked courtyard garden as well as a larger landscaped garden, a beautiful place for our residents to relax in the summer.
Duties/Responsibilities: -
Take responsibility for medication administration and management
Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person-centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated
Supervise and train junior staff and act as a mentor to new staff members
Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices
Act as Nurse in Charge and be responsible in the absence of the manager
