Job Description LOCATION: Covering Scotland & the Borders
JOB TITLE: Field Sales Representative- Scotland & the Borders patch
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP Circa 30K OTE + car, expenses, laptop + mobile
WORKING HOURS: Full Time- Permanent
THE COMPANY: Our client, an agricultural wholesale distributor established in 1976, is a leading supplier & manufacture to the farming, agriculture, engineering and industrial sectors
THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for proactive, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join a successful Field Sales team, covering the clients patch in Scotland & the Borders
They are looking for an experienced field based Agricultural Sales Representative to cover their dealer (trade only) Sales across Scotland and borders (to include counties of Northumbria, Durham and part of Cumbria)
They have an established dealer base in these regions and are keen to expand and increase sales across the patch.
Key Responsibilities to include:- Field Sales Representative- Scotland & the Borders patch
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio
- prospecting new customers and regaining lost business
- Monitor sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly report detailing key result areas.
- Maintain appropriate records on clients and sales activities. Produce reports as required to the management team for review, and complete any customer reporting that may be required within required timescales.
- Maintain and grow existing portfolio by regular interaction with customers
- Calling on customers on a regular basis, providing quotes and ensuring that enquiries and issues are followed up in a timely manner.
THE CANDIDATE: Field Sales Representative- Scotland & the Borders patch
The ideal candidate will be conscientious, organised, disciplined and well-presented and will have a proven sales record of agricultural/and or Machinery parts and accessories sales (dealer/trade sales). Ideally the candidate should reside within the 'patch' to cover the region effectively.
They offer a competitive salary in an established and growing patch. The position comes with a company car and all expenses, mobile phone and laptop and you will be supported by the sales team based in Shrewsbury.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role:- Field Sales Representative- Scotland & the Borders patch
- Previous experience within a Machinery parts and accessories Sales role (Essential)
- Experience of dealer/trade sales highly desirable
- UK Driving licence (Essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet (and exceed) targets
