Flexible to overall site actions and procedures to drive the business forward with minimal supervision. Ensure contractual compliance for the contract at the siteKey Responsibilities in this role will include; Manage the daily plan of work across all shifts with continuous improvement and flexibilityEnsuring that all key SOP's and RA's are followed and written as a remit of the role by all partiesTo maintain standards of H&S within the warehouse operation and enhance and develop the procedures and policiesTo manage the team of FLM's on each shift including development, succession planning and performanceEnsure compliance and team engagement for high EOS scores and maintaining the site developmentEfficiently plan customer's requirements daily and manage against key KPI'sEnsure that all FLM's follow the standard processes and procedures and develop and change these as the site progressesEnsure that the warehouse H&S standards are maintained and continuously improvedTeam engagement in all areas, from day to day actions, to PDP, staff monitoring and maintenance of site rulesAlign resources and plans for optimal site efficiencies and staff controls, including all counselling, discipline and grievance controls Ensure that delivery service is metProvide Customer reasons and solutions for performance issues including absence levelsControl accuracy and all areas of stock control and liabilityMeet all actions associated with the contract and costsCreate and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, senior managers and the customer Key skills and experience in this role will include: Experience of managing a team at a Shift Manager level in a fast paced environment, across a large warehouse.Developed teams to ensure all sites actions are completed efficiently and effectivelyExperience managing and enhancing all staff on site to engage with development, growth and agency staffing inclusionMaintain and update customer operational requirements against all areas of the siteProven experience of developing a site through continuous improvement and review of KPI's, productivity and growth of staff competencies, in line with business developmentsEnsure relationships are fostered and enhanced with all manager levels and the customerFlexible to enhance and develop teams to meet the business requirementsEvidence of your ability to control on costs for site longevityAccuracy and stock controls by correct training and staff procedural controlsExperience of dealing with a customer based at site would be desirable.Awareness and focus on PI and CI initiatives.
