Our client is a reputable, global & growing manufacturing company who supply a variety of systems into industrial & construction industries. Our client is passionate about quality and is committed to continual improvement & lean manufacturing.
The role of Quality Manager is to drive the continual improvement of the quality function as well as delivering products of an exceptional quality whilst improving processes through the UK Facility.
The role of Quality Manager will involve (but not limited to) the following the duties:
• Lead the investigation, containment & permanent resolution of all internal & external quality issues
• Lead the improvement of procedures through effective training & development
• Manage & continually develop customer & supplier relationships through effective communication and prompt support
• Develop, maintain and execute the continuous improvement programme including capital expenditure submissions.
• Conducting Internal & external Audits
The successful Quality Manager / Continuous Improvement Manager will likely have a minimum of 5 years Quality engineering experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment with 2 years experience of carrying out external audits. You will also have experience of lean manufacturing.
You will require a formal engineering qualification & an auditing qualification.
In return, the successful Quality Manager can expect a competitive package with a starting salary of GBP50-57k dependant experience.
