JOB TITLE: HGV Drivers - Class 2
SALARY: GBP8.59 per hour
BENEFITS:
WORKING HOURS: Full time (40hrs per week)
Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Fridays 8am - 2pm
THE COMPANY: Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of PVCu products. The company is a family run business, established over 35 years ago who now employ more than 100 staff at their site in Great Barr, Birmingham. They are currently looking to recruit additional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team.
THE ROLE: Your role will be based at our clients Great Barr site in Birmingham. You will be responsible for multi drop deliveries.
Key Responsibilities of the HGV Drivers - Class 2 role to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidates for the HGV Drivers - Class 2positions will have previous experience of working in a similar role. However, newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply and will be considered. You must be confident talking to customers and able to deliver great customer service.

- Ensuring the load is secure at all times
- Multi drop deliveries
- Completing relevant paperwork and delivery notes
- Collecting cash payments
- Providing great customer service
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidates for the HGV Drivers - Class 2positions will have previous experience of working in a similar role. However, newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply and will be considered. You must be confident talking to customers and able to deliver great customer service.
Essential criteria for the HGV Drivers - Class 2 role:
- Able to commute to Great Barr in Birmingham
- Class 2 licence
- CPC qualification
- Good understanding of English language
- Confident providing face to face customer service
- Comfortable taking cash payments and handling money
- Ability to complete paperwork
- Able to work overtime
