This requires expertise in data, modelling, strategy and change.
About the role
This role offers the chance to make a genuine contribution to credit risk modelling projects for both consumer and SME stakeholders, collaborating with colleagues across the wider risk management community. In the course of your work you can expect to be:

?? supporting the management of ongoing analytic projects
?? providing insight and assisting with the development and provision of analytics which support the design of new model based strategies
?? developing effective relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective project delivery
What you'll bring
This role would suit an enthusiastic team player with excellent organisation skills, who is solution focussed and thrives on working to targets. You?ll also need to be a clear communicator, particularly when you?re discussing complex analytical ideas with non-technical colleagues.
In order to be successful in the role, you'll need:
?? at least an undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline containing statistical components
?? strong practical experience in credit risk model building, preferably in Basel models or Credit Scorecards
?? previous experience in statistical or mathematical modelling, data-driven analysis and SAS, with some experience or interest in predictive modeling
?? a high level of analytical, technical skill
?? experience in credit risk modelling is not essential but would be a real asset, while a background in banking or financial services would also be welcome, and may give you an edge.
Salary and package is very competitive.
