Category Manager (Indirects) - £45,000 - London
We are looking for an interpersonal and quirky individual to join a thriving food service business in the heart of London. This position offers exposure across a portfolio of well-known brands throughout the UK. Key responsibilites include:
* Attain and maintain the best cost prices to facilitate budgets without comprimising quality
* Liaise with Operational Managemetn and Kitchen Design Houses regarding selection and purchasing interaction, of back of house equipment
* Providing support to all brands in regard to the above in terms of availability, margin, quality, legislation and market trend advise
* Regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders and help achieve overall departmental profit criteria
To be considered for this position, the following is essential:
* 3+ years relevant purchasing experience within the non-foods area of the food service sector, retail or wholesale
* Proven track record of cost price reductions
* Achievements of over riding discounts in line with budgetary requirements
* Confident to challenge standard ways of purchasing
* Determination to achieve
* Team Player
* Presentation Skills
* Interpersonal Communication Skills
