A top client is seeking to recruit a Senior Electrical Inspection Engineer - STAFF
About the role:
- The Senior Electrical Inspection Engineer will be responsible for championing the process of electrical reliability improvement across the refinery as well as developing the capability of personnel in reliability improvement activities associated with electrical equipment and instrumentation so that a culture of continuous improvement is achieved at all levels.
- As an electrical SME, our ideal candidate will provide electrical expertise to the asset.
What you will need:
- As the Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Generate Asset Life Plans and Policies for electrical equipment and instrumentation
- Generate and own the Electrical and Instrument Bad Actor lists, delivering solutions and eliminating poor performers.
- Ensure that major electrical & instrumentation vulnerabilities have been identified and plans are in place to address the availability losses. this will include delivering specific solutions to eliminate any vulnerabilities.
- Perform detailed analysis of equipment reliability, identifying gaps between current performance and business requirements
- The job holder will typically have extensive experience covering all aspects of the life-cycle for a wide range of rotating machinery, ideally associated with the Oil and Gas industry
- Specialist knowledge within the field of electrical engineering, demonstrating a thorough understanding and application of the discipline within this environment.
- A good working knowledge of improvement processes and their application to manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in the design and delivery of Performance Improvement Projects.
- The job holder will be an expert in RCA and other Reliability Processes e.g. FMEA, both applying these and training/coaching others in their use
