They are seeking an experienced Fund Raising Manager to continue to develop and increase their income generation across all fundraising areas and to create a sustainable future for their organisation.

Position Summary
As Fund Raising Manager you will be co-ordinating and undertaking fund-raising, providing detailed grant activity funding reports. Although the role is varied, some of your key duties will include:
• To develop and manage, in collaboration with the director and senior management, an effective fundraising strategy and maximise income across fundraising activities
• Liaise, negotiate, prepare, finalise and submit grant applications to funding bodies
• Co-ordinate the collection of monitoring and evaluation data and its analysis for funding purposes.
• Attend and respond to other funding related meetings or initiatives as required with a view to build and maintain relationships with funding bodies.

Who are we looking for?
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience of successful fund-raising work. They should also have the following skills and qualifications to be able to thrive in the role:

• Must have a degree or equivalent level professional qualifications.
• Have knowledge and awareness of issues affecting Asian, African and Caribbean women, especially in respect of violence against women, state responses, racism and religious and cultural constraints.
• Must have a good knowledge of violence against women, equalities and human rights; and a genuine commitment to equality, diversity and non-discriminatory practice.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• The ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
