Due to growth, they have a new position for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join the IT team at their busy head office.
Working within a team of six, your key duties will be to manage, support and report on help desk tickets created by all IT users across the business, at head office and across their construction sites.

Due to growth, they have a new position for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join the IT team at their busy head office.
Working within a team of six, your key duties will be to manage, support and report on help desk tickets created by all IT users across the business, at head office and across their construction sites.
Duties include;
- Logging helpdesk tickets
- Building PC’s and laptops
- Patching network cables for computers, printers and phones
- Carrying out an initial troubleshooting report and resolving where possible or escalating to 2nd and 3rd line where necessary
- Answering helpdesk calls and resolving any issues where possible
- Some server administration and hardware repairs
The Person
It is important that the successful 1st Line IT Support Engineer has the following skills and attributes;
- Excellent communications skills
- A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent customer service, with the ability to establish good working relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Some previous experience in a similar role, we would also consider a graduate
- Due to travel to sites, it is essential that the candidate has a full driving license and their own transport
