This Scottish-based independent IT Consultancy is a trusted technology advisor to its clients, and is committed to ensuring the implementation of requirement based solutions.

It is seeking to recruit an IT Consultant with experience in managing a variety of IT projects to join its team of highly skilled IT professionals delivering projects throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The Role
The IT Consultant will work with clients to:
- analyse operations to determine how best IT can meet the needs of the business
- define comprehensive and realistic IT strategies
- investigate and document business processes and information requirements
- specify business system requirements
- procure and implement business systems and associated solutions.

Responsibilities
The IT Consultant will be responsible for:
- Business Process analysis and requirements specification
- RFP / RFQ / ITT procurement process management
- Implementation project management
- Coordinating company resources to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time and within budget.
- Acting as the primary client liaison during projects, charged with ensuring that:
o Systems and infrastructure are performing as expected
o Suppliers are meeting contractual obligations
o The business ICT strategy is being correctly implemented
o IT staff are mentored, trained, supported and advised
- Providing advice and leadership, ensuring Clients are made aware of advances and issues in technology which may be relevant to their businesses.

The candidate will:
- Be educated to degree level in an IT-related discipline
- Have at least 5 years' experience working on ICT-related project in a number of the following areas:
o ERP (e.g. MS NAV, SAP B1, Epicor)
o CRM
o SharePoint
o Cloud Services e.g. Office 365
o Business Continuity Planning
o Information Security
o Infrastructure & Networks
o IT Service Management / ITIL
- Hold a project management qualification (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2) and have experience managing both projects and staff
- Have excellent presentation and writing skills
- Be a "people person" with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Be comfortable working remotely
