Blackmagic Design are one of the World’s leading manufacturers of creative video technology, supplying broadcast, film, post production and AV industries.
We require a Travel Coordinator to work within the company’s existing team. The Channel Marketing team’s responsibilities include the planning and delivery of channel sales events, trade shows, roadshows, education events, Ambassador programmes and other activities.
The candidate should possess strong organisation and planning skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills. The role will involve communication across different departments of the company and liaison with external suppliers. Strong numeracy skills, the ability to follow internal purchasing systems and work within budgets are essential.
The role involves processing travel and accommodation requests, researching best value travel alternatives, raising purchase orders, making reservations and issuing booking confirmations. Often working to tight deadlines the Travel Coordinator must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be able to manage and prioritise their workload.
In addition to travel and accommodation reservations the role includes assisting with the shipment and collection of loan products. This includes processing incoming loan requests, completion of necessary documentation and product inventory database, arranging shipping and communicating with internal and external customers.
Creative thinking and problem solving skills are important to this role so that when necessary alternative solutions are considered and changes are responded to accordingly.
The candidate should have previous experience of working within a busy office environment.
Location
Office based in Mere, Cheshire.
Key areas of responsibility for the Travel Coordinator
- Make travel and accommodation reservations and issuing booking confirmations
- Processing visa applications
- Coordinating channel marketing events calendar
- Assisting with processing product loans, arranging shipment and collection of goods
- Assisting the Channel Marketing Team with general administration support
Travel Coordinator Requirements
- Strong organisation, planning and budgeting skills

Travel Coordinator Salary
Circa £14,000 - £16,000 depending on experience.
Hours of Work: 37.5hrs, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
