VETERINARY CARE ASSISTANT – PART TIME

RAYLEIGH

We have a vacancy for a Veterinary Care Assistant and are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our small animal practice based in Rayleigh.

We are an established practice in Rayleigh and operate 24/7, with a varied caseload.  The successful candidate will join a large team of 6 Vets, 3 qualified Nurses, 3 student Nurses and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant. Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and is purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities. We are centrally located and offer onsite parking.

Our new colleague will be empathetic, passionate about the industry and will be compassionate about animal care, always striving to deliver the very best service for our animals and clients, every single time. The role involves animal handling and predominantly supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice. 

This is a part time role working every Saturday and Sunday 8.30am – 8.30pm.  For the right (2) candidates, we will also consider job sharing the role.
