Grade 5 - £17,672 - £22,198 pa (Actual salary)
37 hours per week - Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 8.30 – 4.00pm
Term time only plus 5 days
Required for June/September 2017
We are seeking to appoint a Lead Autism Assistant to work at Sidney Stringer Academy. You will be employed by the trust which consists of five schools led by Sidney Stringer Academy. The schools are Radford Primary Academy, Ernesford Grange Community Academy, Riverbank Academy (Special School), Sidney Stringer Primary Free school and Sidney Stringer Academy.
We are looking for an Lead Autism Assistant to lead on provision for and monitoring of performance and progress of ASD students across the Academy. To support and work under the line management of the Head of Learning Support in meeting the needs of SEND students across the Academy
You will be part of a large learning support team (7 teachers, 1 Autism Specialist, 23 LSAs and 2 translators plus a non-teacher who works permanently in the Alternative Education Centre ACE). The facilities are state of the art and staff are very forward thinking. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in developing their experience of working with SEND pupils. You will be very well supported by your line manager.
