Internal Sales Engineer, quoting pumps in a small family owned business manufacturing hygienic centrifugal pumps in Malvern. They are replacing a long-serving employee who is now retiring. The company manufactures stainless steel pumps for hygienic applications in the brewing, pharmaceutical, dairy, food and drink industries, was founded in 1922, and employs 15 people.
Involves:
- Providing pump quotations and quotations for spares
- Assessing & communicating contract and project information
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, design and manufacturing
- Administration of the sales department
Qualities sought:
- Technical ability
- Knowledge of units of pressure, flow, viscosity, density
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Adaptability
- An engineering, maths or science background would be an advantage
