We are dedicated to developing and promoting high quality public transport services and infrastructure across the region to meet our vision to build a healthier, happier, better connected and more prosperous West Midlands.

The Network Delivery Team within TfWM fulfil and manage the bus service network and associated customer infrastructure through delivery and provision of accessible transport solutions, subsidised bus services, network development opportunities and effective asset management and maintenance. The team are responsible for influencing and delivering these key functions through the creation of strong partnerships with the 7 district authorities of the West Midlands, bus operators and other stakeholders.

This key role supports the Area Manager in representing the company in a specified geographical area (Birmingham, Black Country or Coventry & Solihull) in the delivery of all public transport services, and to participate in developing Bus Network Development plans to support the delivery of the company vision, the objectives of the bus alliance, and to ensure the delivery and maintenance of public transport infrastructure.

Interested applicants should have experience of successful partnership working and of working with elected Members, customers, and members of the public. You should have a working knowledge and understanding of bus operation and scheduling, and have knowledge of relevant Acts of Parliament and related legislation, hold or be working towards membership of a relevant professional body.
