Who will I be working with?

Graphtec (GB) Ltd is the sole UK distributor for Graphtec Corporation – the internationally recognised manufacturer of computer related input/output devices and recording instruments, and world market leader in recorders, plotters and cutting devices. Hundreds of employees make up the world-wide network, with sales in excess of £50 million. So, what will the role of Sales Administrator entail?

Working as part of a small hands on team, you will undertake a varied and busy role within the office with duties will including, although not limited to;

  • Taking the lead with answering inbound calls
  • Assisting with customer enquiries and providing solutions
  • Gathering customer requirements with new business enquiries 
  • Producing quotations
  • Following up on quotations provided to customers
  • Processing orders
  • Preparing correspondence such as letters and emails
  • Ensuring the CRM database remains up-to-date
  • Other administrative and customer service tasks as required

As you build knowledge within the business and make your mark, opportunities and support will be provided to develop your skills and progress your career further. 

What will I need, to be considered for this Sales Administrator vacancy?

  • Superb customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Friendly and professional manner with ability to quickly build rapport 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate and timely data entry and typing skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong work ethic, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a proactive approach to work
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop 
  • Flexible with regards to tasks as part of a small hands on 

Some graphics knowledge with Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator would be highly advantageous to relate to customer enquiries, although not essential. 

What will I receive in return?

Salary: £18,000 – £25,000

Superb Benefits: Enhanced employer pension contributory scheme, 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays and one week off at Christmas. 

Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
