Mid/Junior Electronics Design role - Perfect Opportunity to learn

I am currently working with an Electronics component Manufacturer that is on the lookout for an Electronics Engineer to work with them in developing new boards for larger international Blue chip players. To work as part of the Bel Modules team in an office environment, providing day to day Product design and support activities to support the business. Be flexible in supporting the business needs and other members of the team as they arise. A willingness to learn new skills, our products and develop new technology as well as be able to work under own initiative is key to success. This is a junior role and they are looking to pay a permanent employee up to GBP30,000.

Key Responsibilities:

The following are Key duties, other tasks to be added as they arise or as the Role expands:

• Design and support of products, procedures and creation of associated documentation.
• Selection of Components be they Mechanical or Electronic.
• Travel to customer premises and/or manufacturing locations as and when required
• May be considered a specialist in a specific hardware area or generalist in multiple hardware areas and recognized in their organization.
• Understand, utilize, and improve internal processes and tools for the development of hardware.
• Recommend new tools and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in the development processes.

Key experience needed:

• Experience designing Electronics products from concept through to manufacturer.
• Educated to a degree level within Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• PCB Design Experience - Altium, Eagle, CadStar, OrCad
• Knowledge of component selection would be an advantage
• Test and technician knowledge would also be advantageous - Network Analysers, Spectrum analyser, Vector.
