JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER ??? Product Development

The Junior Project Manager, in consultation with senior management, assists with the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple projects and their specified deliverables.


Responsibilities:

Planning projects
??? Through the briefing process, define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
??? Create a detailed work plan identifying and sequencing the activities needed to complete the project
??? Define objectives and the measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

Implement the project
??? Execute the project according to the project plan
??? Monitor the progress of the project, and establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders

Control the project
??? Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
??? Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase


Requirements:

Education
??? University Degree in a related subject

Knowledge, skills and abilities
??? Knowledge of project management
??? Word processing / Spreadsheets / Simple accounting / Data base management

Personal characteristics
??? Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner
??? Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals

Experience
??? Experience is advantageous but this position is open to the right graduate
??? Planning and/or management experience would be a bonus
