Senior Quantity Surveyor - Housing Developer - Preston
I currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic Commercial team based near Preston. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage processes and deliverables for tenders and handle the resourcing of sub-contractors to ensure commercial viability and maximised profits.
Our client has 30 years of experience in building high-quality, traditional residential properties with a superb finish. With aspirations to become a national house builder in the next few years. They are currently making a name in Lancashire and the wider North West, thanks to their reputation for quality and award winning customer service. In 2015-16, they delivered 600 new homes with 2016-17 currently being projected to be over 800. This figure is set to increase to around 1,000 new homes by 2018.
Using exceptional negotiation skills, the ideal candidate will have an attention to detail and will procure and manage multiple subcontractors to meet budget and business plan targets. You will assist with the creation of land viabilities as well as effectively producing / monitoring budgets and CVRs.
Good IT skills and experience of using COINS would be advantageous.
