LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

2A + 2 pt 12 - 15 (£11,593 - £12,288 pa)
31 hours per week term time + 5 training days
8.45 am - 3.25 pm start date ASAP

Grange Academy is a special school providing for children aged between five and sixteen years of age with a range of learning difficulties including moderate learning difficulties and autism. The school is moving to become part of a local Multi Academy Trust of special schools. We are looking to appoint a highly skilled LSA who:

• enables learners to make at least good progress and develop well
• has excellent knowledge of autism and associated leaning needs
• works effectively as part of a team to improve learners' conduct behaviour and attitudes to learning
• is able to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, families and multi-disciplinary professionals
• is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children
• has strong literacy and numeracy skills and is a clear communicator.
