My client is an award-winning architectural practice, inspired by the creative process and committed to delivering the highest quality architecture, regardless of project size and constraints.

They are currently seeking ambitious, creative and curious Part-II architectural assistants or Recent Part III's to join their growing Chelmsford office at the earliest opportunity. The successful candidates will join a multi-cultural office with particular expertise in large residential, education and mixed-use developments, and work with highly experienced and passionate professionals on challenging projects.

As a Part-II architectural assistant, applicants will be required to contribute and assist in all aspects of the design process to produce design packages.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* working as part of the design team to develop scheme designs for a project
* preparing project design work including drawings, plans, images, reports and presentations across disciplines including master planning, architecture as well as landscape, lighting and other design disciplines
* collaborating with other team members and sub-contractors to produce design work and revisions according to the client brief on time and on budget
* supporting the studio team leader during project presentations to the design review board
* ensure that project documentation is archived correctly

Desired skills and experience:

* fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages of advantage
* RIBA Part-II qualified or equivalent with at least two years' professional experience
* Strong knowledge of relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe applications.
* proficient in 3D modelling and rendering
* excellent design and communication skills
* able to use initiative and a creative approach to problem-solving
* able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
