You will create a lasting legacy for Somerset through your leadership and management of a multi-million pound grants programme, benefitting and enhancing the quality of life in local communities. Working with a wide range of public, private and third sector partners, as well as grassroots communities directly, you will ensure we invest in high quality projects and initiatives that enable us to maximise the value of the funds under our management.
In particular, you will lead the delivery of the EDF Energy Community Fund in the communities most affected by the Hinkley Point C development, mitigating impacts by creating new opportunities to enhance the quality of life in those communities. You will also support the strategic development of the Foundation's wider community investment and leadership programmes.
