Company / Overview
Food manufacturer in the Tyne and Wear area, currently looking for a number of Maintenance Technicians, due to a company expansion.
Job Details
Due to an increase in business, a successful Food manufacturer in the Tyne and Wear area are looking to employ a number of multi skilled Maintenance Technicians, ideally with a mechanical bias.
Duties will include:-
• Reactive maintenance on a range of machines and equipment, including conveyors, ovens, pumps, gear boxes, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Adhering to health and safety and hygiene procedures
• Site Facilities
• Mechanical and electrical duties
Experience / Qualifications
• Time Served (Recognised Apprenticeship)
• Multi Skilled (Mechanical bias)
• Experience working in a FMCG or clean manufacturing environment (Food, Packaging, Plastic, Pharmaceutical)
• Mechanical bias with good basic electrical skills
• Flexible to work shifts
Salary / Shifts
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (flexible for a possible shift change to night shift in the future)
