Our client, a recognised global brand are looking to train and develop junior welders to attain a NVQ level 2 in welding. The successful candidates, will be trained to meet our facilities specific welding needs. This will allow us to eventually support our Fabrication production requirements as the build program increases with in the Peterlee facility.
Job Description:
The successful candidates will be intensively trained in Welding theory and the practical welding process for up to 4 months in the Welding Academy, before being slowly introduced in to the Operations environment. This will be supervised by an appointed Weld training specialist.
The theory and practical role will initially teach individuals the basic fundamentals of the required aspects of welding in line with People Quality Velocity and Cost
Background / Experience:
* GCSE Grades A-D in English and Maths
* Chosen candidates must be keen and reliable and
have an interest in this field of work.
* Good attitude and communication skills essential,
plus the willingness to learn.
