Project Assistant

Manchester – M14 6JZ

Salary: £16,478 per annum

Permanent – 37.5 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Project Assistant on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Manchester.

They are looking to recruit a full-time Project Assistant in Manchester working 37.5 hours per week. The role is covering two schemes - Stopover and The Beeches, which provide support to young people age 16-25.

Project Assistants play a vital role in providing administration support to the teams, as well as supporting clients to make their own life choices and access the services they need.

You will provide a first-class administration service, maintaining accurate records and acting as a first point of contact for clients by telephone or in person. You will engage with them to offer housing related support, responding to and escalating queries as necessary, including working with tenancy agreements and collecting rents and charges.

Ideally, you’ll already have experience of working with vulnerable clients in a housing/social care setting. If not, you will be given on the job training but will certainly have the empathy, interpersonal skills and sensitivity to appreciate how everyday housing issues impact on quality of life.  Commitment to providing the quality service that our clients need is also essential as are excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.

The Group is one of the most innovative and progressive housing and regeneration organisations and they are proud to be improving quality of life for tens of thousands of families and individuals across the UK. If you believe you can make an effective contribution in this role we would really like to hear from you.

In return for your hard work you will receive 25 days holiday, access to our pension scheme and training and development opportunities.

Closing Date: 3rd April 2017
