An opportunity has arisen within the organisation to recruit a number of Project Assistants and Support Workers to join their team at Wilson Carlisle House in Manchester. Wilson Carlisle House is a 38-bed supported housing project for males aged 18-65 with a history of offending.
Project Assistants play a vital role in providing administration support to the teams, as well as supporting clients to make their own life choices and to access the services they need.
As a Project Assistant, you will provide a first-class administration service, maintaining accurate records and acting as a first point of contact for clients by telephone or in person. You will engage with them to offer housing related support, responding to and escalating queries as necessary, including working with tenancy agreements and collecting rents and charges.
As a Support Worker, your role will involve, providing positive support for clients, you will work through challenging barriers, and empower clients to develop the skills needed to live independently.
You will work proactively, to form strong relationships and gain clients trust, striving to provide the best possible service levels.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience within support work, but more importantly have the passion, energy and dedication to deliver a service to achieve solid results for individuals within the schemes.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week on a shift rota basis working a mixture of earlies, afternoons, evenings and weekend and bank holiday work
