Procurement Manager

My client is a Global brand that is now looking to enhance its position as No.1 supplier of its product. Reporting into the Head of procurement you will be tasked with managing a varied supplier base delivering full support and strategy to the group. Main Accountabilities will include: - Responsible for management of one or several suppliers including support and delivery of 'the' strategy and appropriate Risk Management.- Accountable for providing the best purchasing conditions for the company and its suppliers.- Act as the single face to the supplier to provide continuity- Management of contractual interface(s) with supplier(s) including control of contract signatures.- Management of Risk related to supplier(s)- Development and maintenance of strategic supplier relationships with specific supplier(s)- Contribution / participation in the communication process between supplier(s) and customer(s) with respect to the company's procurement policy and guidelines and performance related information.- Effective introduction of new products and programmes into the Sub Commodity supply base including signature of contracts and changes to the contracts.- Ensure and monitor contract fulfilment In order to apply for this role you will need to have experience within a 'commodity' environment preferably with a Defence or Aerospace company.
