Head Of Department - Property Solicitor This national chambers rated firm is expanding its property team in Taunton, and looking to appoint a senior solicitor to act as (joint) head of the house builder department. This is a senior client facing role.One of the main responsibilities will be to continue to build on existing relationships with established clients. You will have held a similar senior role previously, which will have included lots of client contact. Another major aspect of this role will be supervising the existing team. This team is made up of experienced solicitors, legal executives and paralegals. As a senior in the team, you will naturally have excellent technical ability. Exposure to house builder clients, in both the private and/or public sector would be an advantage, as would site set up experience, scheme preparation and all aspects of residential development sales.This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 5 years relevant PQE. Those already at senior associate level are encouraged to apply, as this position could be offered at partnership level.Salary dependent on experience, but likely starting at ??70k+.
