We currently have an exciting opportunity for Payroll Administrator to join our team based in Gloucester. Within the role, you will ensure the accurate processing of wages, salaries and other forms of compensation across allocated payroll sites. Maintaining close relationships with key branches on allocated payroll sites, you will ensure that queries are answered on a timely basis. Candidates for this position will ensure the smooth payment of all employees and relevant deductions via efficient and effective payroll processing of weekly and monthly payroll. Liaising with branch administrators to guarantee accurate payments to employees and resolving any queries that may arise on a timely basis. The successful Payroll Administrator will answer any queries raised by employees and deal with any correspondence from statutory bodies on a timely basis.

 

With previous experience of payroll administration within running monthly payrolls, you will possess a strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures with the ability to work in a confidential environment. Candidates for this role will be able to communicate at all levels with people from varying backgrounds. The successful Payroll Administrator will ideally hold strong Customer Service Skills with experience of providing a service to internal and external customers. A proficient user of IT, you will be able to use Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel. Ideally candidates will have knowledge of Pyramid HR/Snowdrop/Workday coupled with an IPPM qualification, however this is not essential to the position. With the ability to meet tight deadlines in fast paced environment, you will possess the determination to succeed. Above all we are looking for a candidate who is flexible with hours as peak periods of work is essential.
