Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Technical Storekeeper to join our team in Ardley.

Technical Storekeeper responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for effective store management, including issuing and receiving goods, maintaining effective and efficient stock levels, etc.
  • Preparing and maintaining PPM and stock replenishment lists in Holistech for monthly reporting and ensure goods are available to achieve maintenance plans and targets (especially for planned outage).
  • Responsibility for low level budgetary approval and control.
  • Responsibility for delivery of materials to Ardley ERF and the collection of materials from suppliers as and when required.
  • Monitoring outstanding deliveries of stock and contract stores against orders placed ensuring Holistech is updated and all stores received are held in accordance with current H&S weight guidelines on specific racking.
  • Receiving relevant COSHH data sheets for materials supplied and bring them to the attention of the environmental and H&S Manager.
  • Supporting other departments with procurement, receiving and despatching items and handling all associated paperwork.
  • Operating forklift trucks, overhead cranes and any other associated equipment.
  • Producing necessary reports such as stock values and transactions.
  • Guiding, monitoring and training staff in stores and purchasing procedures.
The ideal Technical Storekeeper:

To be successful for this role, you will need to have a knowledge of purchase control and experience of stores control and material management. You will also need:
  • An understanding of H&S issues.
  • Full understanding of manual handling regulations.
  • Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Excellent communicational skills are required at all levels; both verbally and written.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Ability to write concise reports.
  • Computer literate
In return for this Technical Storekeeper position, we can offer a basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 and an attractive benefits package, working within in a team-orientated and collaborative environment, for a Company that strives to be environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
