Job Title: Services Operations Manager

Location: Bathgate (Travel Required)

The company is looking to recruit a Services Operations Manager to join their team in Bathgate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of Company strategies, policies and practices.
• Prepare budgets and inventories.
• Directly manage the Services Supervisor/Project Administrator.
• Coach and develop direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required.
• Hold regular team meetings.
• Responsible for operational performance and successful delivery of contracts.
• Allocation of resources required to manage the clients' expectations.
• To liaise fully with clients to ensure that the delivery of service operations to agreed SLA's and quality targets.
• Creating a safe and effective working environment
• Delivering profitability through operational outputs
• Manpower planning and resources allocation.
• Achieving quality standards on all products.
• Promoting all aspects of our business through professional execution of existing contract works
• Maintaining and motivating the team.
• Integration of field activity with office based planning and administration teams
• Working with the Electrical Manager, ensure accreditations are up-to-date and department are prepared for internal and external audits.
• Work in conjunction with the SHEQ Manager to ensure compliance on health and safety procedures.
• Ensuring client satisfaction including exceeding client expectations
• Forecast recruitment needs in conjunction with HR Department.
• Oversee/assist with recruitment and selection of staff for the services Department.
• Introduction of improved operational systems and IT based solutions to enhance output and improve timescales.
• Review customer reviews and customer related statistics.
• Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation.
• Adhering to established measures and KPI's on agreed Service Level Agreements with key clients.

Qualifications/Experience required:

• Successful Operational Manager experience (At least 5 years' experience).
• SMSTS (desirable)
• Relevant Gas and Electrical Qualifications/experience of working in similar environment would be preferable.
• Current CSCS card would be desirable.

Skills Required:

• A diligent manager with extensive experience in the energy services market.
• Strong track record of delivering to a very wide range of clients in local authorities, housing associations, commercial and private markets.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
• Ability to take ownership for issues and suggest, negotiate, agree and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Proven experience in a staff management position.
• A self-starting individual with a strong work ethic capable of planning and managing own time effectively. Ability to work using own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Extensive knowledge of manpower planning and organisational delivery.
• Building key relationships at all levels of management.
