Making it happen- your Role 

We have an opportunity for a Team Manager in our Community Based Support Services within Mansfield and surrounding areas.  Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy service, getting to know the people we support, what's important to them and discovering the best ways to support them as an individual. You will help to organise and monitor day to day support ensuring that it is delivered efficiently and to the highest possible standard.  


What we need from you

To be a great Team Manager, you will have experience of working in social care and ideally have an NVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent.  You will know that you need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect.  You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good IT and numerical skills.  

We are looking for a dynamic individual, who is able to adopt a flexible working approach to ensure they can implement well lead services to people we support who have a learning disability or mental health issue, who live out in the community who require personalised packages of support to meet their specific outcomes.

It is essential to the role that the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate their understanding of the required skills, to enable them to fulfil their responsibilities as detailed within the job description provided within the application pack.
