Job Title: Civil Project Engineer

Salary: up to £35k per annum + attractive benefits package + further training (relocation would be supported if required)

Civil Project Engineer –The Role:

- Due to the company expanding and a portfolio of work with high profile, blue-chip clients, they are looking for a junior Civil Project Engineer with a minimum of 2/3+ years’ experience civil engineering experience in a design related environment to join their team.

- You will join the Civil engineering team to provide engineering support on single and multi-disciplinary projects, including new build and refurbishment projects for the private and public sectors. Typical project values range from GBP £0.5-30m and are extremely varied in type, scope and complexity.

- You will be responsible, under the leadership of the Associate Director, for the project management of complex projects for clients in the Industrial, Leisure, Healthcare, Residential, Educational and Public sectors. This will include client liaison, design, interface with project teams, contract implementation and providing support to their other offices.

Civil Project Engineer –Key Responsibilities:

- Liaison and representation of the company with other project professionals

- Represent the company at client facing meetings

- Ability to complete, or knowledge of, Flood Risk Assessments

- Preparing technical specifications

Civil Project Engineer –Experience Required:

- Experience of, and detailed knowledge of, carrying out designs of infrastructure, roads & drainage schemes, including S38 and S278 Highways schemes and S104 drainage schemes

- Minimum of 2/3+ years postgraduate experience in a civil engineering design related environment

- A good level of computer literacy in Windows, AutoCAD, Microdrainage, and infrastructure design software (ideally PDS and/or AutoCAD CIVIL 3D)

- It is desirable that you will have either Student or Associate membership of IStructE/ICE and a wish to work towards Chartership and full membership.
