A market leader in the UK retail gaming sector is seeking an Insight Analyst to joins its London (Feltham) based Business Intelligence Team. The primary focus of the team is to create a knowledge-driven culture across the organisation and your analysis will help support the effective decision making process of internal stakeholders.

Reporting directly to the Head of BI & Analytics you will be undertaking complex projects and 'deep dive' analyses across all the company market sectors to provide actionable insight and recommendations to increase revenue. As well as co-ordinating and planning your team workload (you will have two direct reports), you will be influential in supporting the coaching and development of the insight analysis team who provide 1st line support to the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide analytical support for the key account ensuring commercial decision making is supported with data insight.
* Effective engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to define and deliver a pipeline of output which is both analytically robust and commercially focused.
* The capture and maintenance of market, competitor and customer insight and intelligence providing an accurate picture of both current and potential markets.
* Actively contribute to the Business Intelligence and Analytics strategy for the business recommending new tools, processes and methods to drive cash-box performance.
* Deputise for the Head of BI & Analytics when required including delivery of presentations and strategy updates to the Executive Team.
* Coach and mentor the analyst team to ensure that there is a programme of continuous learning and on-going development of both technical and inter-personal skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential
* Significant experience of working with large volumes of data.
* Demonstrable track record in converting data into an actionable corporate asset which drives incremental revenue and growth.
* Ability to identify priorities from a significant potential workload and to manage customer expectations positively and effectively.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders from across the business and to influence key-decision makers.
* Confident, motivated and an excellent communicator (both written and verbal communication) with the ability to concisely communicate summary level output.
* Demonstrable commercial awareness and business acumen and the ability to perceive requirements from a customer perspective and deliver a solution which is fit for purpose.
* Advanced excel skills and ability to express complex output in simple terms using Word and PowerPoint.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Desirable
* Experience of working with geo-demographic data (MOSAIC / ACORN) and tools (e.g. Micromarketer / InSite).
* Qualifications in advanced statistics or revenue management.
* Post graduate qualification or other specialist qualification.
* Project management qualification.
* Experience of coaching and mentoring people in analytical roles.
* Knowledge of the gaming industry in the UK and opportunities in international markets.
