Location: Guildford Salary: Up to GBP21,500 per annum (FTE) - depending on skills and experience Permanent, part-time position (28 hours per week) We are looking for a Registry Assistant who will provide valuable administrative support by handling queries regarding past courses and providing this information to former students, third parties and University staff; this will include producing formal documentation such as transcripts and confirmation of awards and the processing fees. Our service which includes the provision of transcripts, confirmation of study and confirmation of attendance is an essential service for former customers, employers' checking qualifications and regulators both in the UK and abroad who require information about former students and their curricula. The successful applicant will be educated to at least GCSE standard, or equivalent and have solid experience of working in an administrative function. Excellent front line client service skills are essential in this role and the post holder will possess an excellent telephone manner and written communication skills. A thorough working knowledge of MS Office will be essential as will experience of entering information into and interrogating databases.
