Booking and Scheduling Coordinator

This globally recognised event service provider with offices in the UK and Middle East, is currently looking for a Booking and Scheduling Coordinator to join their Stratford office (East London).

Reporting to the Crew Manager and working closely with the Account Handling team and Operations Director, the successful candidate will support with the booking of staff, organising transport and assisting with the 24 hour emergency on call service.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all work schedules are planned, booked and confirmed on time and with flawless accuracy
- Booking crew daily and ensuring all project information is communicated correctly
- Communicating clearly and effectively with all colleagues in the office to ensure accuracy on all jobs
- Organise and coordinate transport and logistics for all bookings
- Liaise with the entire operations team to plan resource allocation for future jobs
- Taking ownership of workload and improving process
- Providing emergency out of hours phone cover

Skills/ Abilities
The ideal candidate:
- Will be proactive, anticipate problems before they happen and prevent them wherever possible
- Be able to problem solve when under high pressure
- Demonstrate critical-thinking skills daily to devise plans of action and assess the effectiveness of those plans regularly
- Will be IT literate
- Be highly organised and methodical in their approach to all aspects of work
- Have the ability to manage workload and ensure deadlines are met
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
- Excellent geographical knowledge of London, the UK and transport networks

Desired experience:
- Experience with booking/ CRM systems
- Experience in a booking / scheduling role
- Experience in a Logistics / Planning role
