HR Officer

About the role
Balfour Beatty Investments has an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join our investments team to work in Newcastle.

What you'll be doing
As, HR Officer, you will:

• Provide an excellent customer focused service to employees, management and the HR team which is timely, accurate and proactive, escalating to the HR Business Partner as required
• Lead on all reporting requirements for the team and business requirements such as facts and statistics for planning and measuring ROI
• Work to coordinate and support activities with the CoE's for resourcing, reward, ER and L&D requirements
• Maintain the HR systems for example 360 pages; absence management; recruitment & invoicing
• Support the Head of HR in relation to; learning, engagement & talent, employee reward & wellbeing activities

Who we're looking for
You will:

• Be graduate degree educated, ideally with a business or human resources related qualification
• Have previous experience of working in a proactive and innovative HR department and will thrive on working within a busy and fast paced environment
• Have strong administrative, analytical and organisational skills
• Be experienced in using HR systems such as Oracle; Talent Link, Snowdrop is desirable
• Have good organisation skills and will be tasked focused with ability to work on own initiative
