If so, then we want to hear from you.What will you be doing?As a Lead Automation Engineer/Scientist you will be responsible to act as an interface between the biology of the process and the engineering requirements of the automation strategy for the process development group. You will display imitative when providing support links between process development (PD), Manufacturing and Quality leading the automation within the PD development team and working with a matrix team of individuals to progress automation strategies from development into manufacturing.Who should you be? * A professional with a BSc or higher qualification in relevant area; Biology, Engineering or, and ideally, Biochemical Engineering. * * An Individual with significant post-academic, industrial experience working at the interface of biology and engineering where experience with, or at least the awareness of, the particular challenges for autologous cell therapy process industrialisation is critical. * * The Lead Automation Engineer/Scientist with depth of experience in the automation, process development, optimisation, and technology transfer of bioprocesses (involving some aspect of cell culture, if not cell therapy). * * A candidate who has an understanding of technologies suitable for cell isolation, activation, transduction and expansion * * A professional who can critically compare and contrast automation options from a commercial, scientific, quality and regulatory standpoint * Who you will be working for?As Lead Automation Engineer/Scientist you will be working for an established biopharmaceutical company that is leading the way in cell therapy.
