Interim HSE Coordinator My client is a UK Leading Food Manufacturer, and is looking for an Interim HSE Coordinator. A fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant business and promote a health and safety culture.In this essential role, they are looking for a passionate HSE professional to use their skills and experience to help with the Health and Safety within his food manufacturer. Reporting to and supporting the Site Director, you will ensure that every member of the workforce in carrying out duties safely and are compliant with training and regulations through the promotion and enforcement of best practice.Key HSE Coordinator responsibilities include: * Maintain a safe working environment for employees, products and processes in line with policies, procedures and legislation * Provide HSE input to team briefs, particularly referencing any changes in process or procedure * Review the HSE training needs of the workforce and compile training plans accordingly * Responsibility for attending formal briefing meetings to ensure understanding of new or updated HSE policies or procedures * Collection of weekly and monthly KPI information * Coordinate all plant and cross audits, risk assessments, essential meetings which are relevant to the position and responsibility. * Undertake to investigate and report serious incidents to the relevant functional heads * Ensure corrective and preventative actions from internal and external audits are delivered on time. * Other adhoc administration tasks as necessary.Key HSE Coordinator skills and experience: Ideally you will have experience of working in a health and safety role within a manufacturing environment and have attained a NEBOSH certification, as well as an IEMA environmental qualification. You will also have experience with Risk Assessments and working in duty holder roles. You will have a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of HSE regulations and you will have a desire to continually develop this insight.
