Our client, based in Farnborough, is looking for a Sales Support Administrator Reporting to: Customer Service Manager Job Purpose: To deliver first class customer service to our client's independent customer base, provide a high level of support to the Area Sales Managers and to ensure sales order potential is maximised.Job Requirement: Support and resolve all direct customer enquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Enquires range from stock availability, pricing, delivery and delivery queries, invoicing, claims, and promotional activities. Develop strong customer relationships and be able to proactively engage retailers to ensure all sales opportunities are seized and to manage expectation and alternatives in times of short supply. Proactively engage with all internal departments to ensure a seamless experience for the customer. Understand customer credit exposure, supply chain disruptions and warehouse capacity constraints to avoid customer dissatisfaction.Support the Field Sales Manager as required. This will involve creating presentations, sales reporting, forecast reporting, trade show & meeting preparation and completing customer documents as required.Assist the Field Sales Team (ASMs) as required. Facilitate their enquiries, such as stock availability, pricing, delivery issues, product imagery or catalogue supply. Support the Customer Service Manager as required. This may include department cover or external project tasks.Offer ideas of process improvement and development to ensure the business is able to become more efficient, agile and to reduce our costs.Ensure that all related databases are checked and updated on a regular basis to enable efficient management of customer price files and the updating of customer specific profiles and manuals.Any other ad-hoc tasks to be undertaken as required.Background and Qualifications A strong understanding of customer service excellence. Solid understanding of a sales driven environment.Previous experience in a Sales or Telesales environment (telephone skills).Able to use own initiative and also work as part of a team internal and external to the company Flexibility to adapt within a sometimes pressured environment as part of a close knit team.Proactive attitude to resolving and pre-empting issues.
