Village Green Restaurants are looking for a General Manager to join our team and take on the successful running of the Swan & Dog in Great Chart, Ashford.
Dating back to the 16th Century, the Swan & Dog is a busy village pub & restaurant that prides itself on delivering our customers with first class levels of customer service, together with freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
Having recently benefited from a complete refurbishment, we are a high turnover business that operates on a 70% food/30% drink split, so we are looking for a dedicated and food loving General Manager that has proven experience managing a fast paced, high volume food operation.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Proven experience at GM level within the F&B, pub or hospitality sector.
Experience managing a busy food led outlet.
The ability to build a strong partnership with your Head Chef & kitchen team.
First class customer service, quality and service delivery standards.
Proven leadership skills in order to recruit, train, motivate and develop your team.
You must be commercially astute, able to assume responsibility for the site management reporting and profit and loss budgeting.
The ability to engage the local community and drive sales & marketing from site.
Ideally you will be an existing personal licence holder.
